SHEF(S) won Category 4 - Best Communication and travelled to the House of Lords for the Safety Groups meeting and Presentation Luncheon and Ceremony.
The 2008 annual site visit was to HMP Barlinnie. The visit included a discussion/question time with Bill McKinlay, Governor and David Abernethy, Deputy Governor. The staff we met during the tour were extremely professional and their knowledge and practical concern for the safety of everyone onsite was clearly demonstrated.
Celebrating 70 years of the Forum. Guests included Lord Cullen of Whitekirk, Brian Sweeeney, Chief Fire Office, Strathclyde Fire & Rescue and Stewart Campbell, Director, HSE Scotland.
